As a part of Bold Love, each campus will participate in a Community Impact Day on Saturday, April 29. That morning, hundreds of volunteers will serve several organizations in our community in various projects ranging anywhere from hospitality to helping build a house. Spots are limited, so sign up now! Below you’ll find details about what your specific campus is doing.

CLEAR LAKE CAMPUS

Note: All teams will meet at the Clear Lake campus at 8:15am on the morning of April 29 before heading to their project location.

Clear Lake Food Pantry

Volunteers will do a variety of projects including:

  • Power washing
  • Building a tomato garden
  • Re-organizing food storage
  • Various cleaning projects

Clear Lake Intermediate School

  • Paint and redecorate the front office
  • Clean up the hallway
  • Complete landscape maintenance in the school garden
  • Work on a teacher appreciation project

Saturday, April 29 | Projects for Egret Bay, Church on Wednesday, and East 96 Campuses

Note: All teams will meet at the Egret Bay campus at 8:00am on the morning of April 29 before heading to their project location.

League City Volunteer Fire Department & Emergency Medical Service (EMS) (Multiple Locations)

LEAGUE CITY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT & EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE (EMS)

There are 5 fire stations and 3 EMS stations in League City. Check the map below for locations.

At 7 of the eight stations we will have teams tasked with:

  • Washing and waxing the fire trucks and ambulances
  • Cleaning the truck bay floors
  • Pressure washing the concrete in front of the fire stations
  • Hospitality team at each station will provide breakfast and hospitality for the station staff on duty

AGE REQUIREMENTS | Kids of all ages with adult supervision are welcome on all teams. Note: Please only individually register children 10 years old and up for a project. There is a place to list those children 9 years old and under on the form.

Teams of volunteers will be involved in:

  • Landscaping, clearing out flower beds, trimming bushes and trees, and planting new plants
  • Cleaning dog kennels
  • Cleaning other parts of the facility
  • Organizing their donation storage

Teams of volunteers will be:

  • Painting classrooms, library, and locker rooms
  • Doing handyman type projects: hang cork boards and dry erase boards, fix latches in bathroom stalls, hang curtains in class rooms, install shelves in locker room etc.
  • Power washing under the football field bleachers

Wedgewood Elementary School

WEDGEWOOD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (More Volunteer Spots Just Added!)

Volunteers will help set up a carnival and will spend time with the community by running game booths and handing out treats to the kids.

Village on the Park Assisted Living

VILLAGE ON THE PARK ASSISTED LIVING

400 E Parkwood Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546

Two teams will spend the day with the residents. While one team will treat the residents to a spa day, painting finger nails and chatting with them, the other will participate in a variety of games and other activities.

Habitat for Humanity

Volunteers will work with Habitat for Humanity to build a house for a family in need. Location has not been finalized.

AGE REQUIREMENTS | Important! Must be 18 years or older to participate. Habitat for Humanity does not allow minors on the construction site.
